The Vision of the Humanoid Engineering & Intelligent Robotics (HEIR) Lab is to have an ethical and affordable humanoid robot in every home to assist children and adults from all backgrounds with life tasks, healthy living, and learning in a socially intelligent manner. The HEIR Lab was founded in 2012 by Dr. Andrew B. Williams.

MU-L8 Presented at IEEE-RAS Humanoid Conference October 15, 2013
The MU-L8 humanoid was presented at the 13th International IEEE-RAS Humanoids conference, 8th Workshop on Humanoid Soccer Robots in Atlanta, GA. The HEIR Lab presented their innovations in 3D printing and design architecture for a teen-sized humanoid robot.
