Education: received the B.S. degree in control and automation engineering (mechatronics) from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, in 2004 and the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Marquette University, Milwaukee, WI, in 2006.
Research Interests: fault diagnostics of electric machines and drive, motion control with servo-drives, robotics, control system stability and performance; and performance optimization of mechatronics systems.
