Zhang Peng, Ph.D. Candidate
Education: received B.S. in automation control from Northeastern University, P.R. China, in 2004 and M.S. in electrical engineering from Changwon National University, R. O. Korea in 2007. She is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering at Marquette University.
Research Interests: Design and analysis of Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (IPMSM), Permanent Magnet Reluctance Motor (PRM), selection of pole number and slot number of IPMSM for hybrid electric vehicles, optimal design of PM motors using Design of Experiment (DOE) combined with Response Surface Methodology (RSM).
