The Great Lakes Biomedical Conference was held on April 22, 2005 at the Golden Ronelle Theatre of Johnson Wax in Racine, WI.   The theme of this year's conference is "Medical Informatics and Bioinformatics”, and will provide a working overview of this emerging and ubiquitous technology with real world applications in several major disciplines, which include Health Care, Medicine, Research, Business, Biostatistics, Computers and Engineering. Five distinguished speakers present real applications in informatics that have take-home value and demonstrate the colligative applicability of informatics in their respective companies and academic institutions.
