The primary location for the Workshop is Room 202 in the Olin Engineering Center, which is an auditorium next to the Department of Biomedical Engineering offices in Olin 206. The address for Olin is 1515 West Wisconsin Ave, but perhaps more important is that Olin (a newer, white building) connects to the Haggerty Engineering building, which in turn is on the corner of Wisconsin Ave and 16th street. You can park in the structure that is on 16th St (a 1-way street going North), making a left 1/2 block North of Wisconsin Avenue. After parking, you need to head Southeast to cross both 16th St and Wisconsin Ave, and walk East for 1/2 block along the South sidewalk of Wisconsin Ave. Enter at either Olin (glass doors) or Haggerty (stairs), then take stairs or elevator to the second floor. Most of those coming from out of town are staying at the Milwaukee Hilton, which is located at 509 W Wisconsin Ave, about a mile East of our building. The airport is South of campus by roughly 10 miles. From the airport, go North on 43 N / 94 W. These freeways remain together until just before the Marquette campus, when 94 heads West and 43 continues North. You need to get off on the first exit after this split, either Wells/Wisconsin if you are on 43, or 22nd if you are on 94. If you get of on 22nd, turn right (East) on Clayborn and then left (North) on 16th. If you get off on Wells/Wisconsin, make two rights to go West of Wisconsin Ave of you are going to Marquette, or go East on Wisconsin if you are going to the Hilton. |
