Provides Business Training

The management of the sorority involves all members; from the executive position of the president residing over the smooth operations of the chapter to the daily contact of members and their influence on course of action. The vice president, membership educator, secretary, treasurer and chairs of different committees all receive training in organization procedure which is of lasting benefit.

Teaches Parliamentary Practice

Weekly meetings conducted under parliamentary procedure familiarizes sisters in the experiment and experience of self-government. Effective expression in debate and the art of persuasion are readily practiced and acquired by the time of graduation.

Promote an Open Mind

Interchapter relations, regional meetings, and national conventions open more doors for the sharing of experiences between chapters. The exchanging of helpful information between undergraduates and alumni from across the country keeps our sisters from becoming provincial, complacent and self-satisfied. The accumulated knowledge of Alpha Omega Epsilon is at the disposal for all actives to learn and build off of previous experiences.

Enlarges Contacts (Networking)

Assistance in helping a sister find a job is traditional. The benefits of alumni membership in Alpha Omega Epsilon cannot be disregarded, as a greater number of contacts are made available. This is also true during your time in school when your fellow sisters are taking advantage of internship and co-op opportunities.

Promote Mutual Understanding

Chapter life presents opportunity to develop the leaderhsip and business ability to seek grounds of understanding and appreciation. It is vital in the work force to be capable of understanding as well as being understood. This makes you an influential asset to your company.
