There are a variety of ways in which you can become involved with EWB.

Whether or not you are a professional engineer in Wisconsin, we encourage you to join Engineers Without Borders.

All sorts of skills are helpful for EWB. Technical expertise is useful in educating and training others, so the design & build of the project is more succesful. Non-technical expertise, such as assistance with health assessments, cultural education, trip planning, fund raising, and grant writing, is also extremely valuable.

EWB projects are designed to be simple and cost-effective, and the host communities contribute to the projects, but the projects still involve other costs for the professional & student project teams. EWB-USA, as well as the Wisconsin Professional Partners chapter, are fairly new organizations.
