Education: received his M.Sc. degree in electrical
engineering from Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran, Iran, with
a focus on design of cost effective solutions for electric power
conditioning systems using high performance power electronics
converters. Since 2012, he is working towards his Ph.D. degree
in electrical engineering at Marquette University, Milwaukee,
WI, USA, where he has developed a computationally efficient
design optimization package for performance improvement of
permanent magnet machines over a target operating cycle, with
application to hybrid electric vehicles.
Research Interests: design, modeling, analysis, and
optimization of
electric machines and adjustable speed drives, power
electronics converters, and renewable energy systems.
M.Sc. Thesis, “Design and Implementation of a
Component Minimized
Dual Terminal Single Phase Converter”
Ph.D. Dissertation, “Design Optimization of Permanent Magnet
Machines Over a Target Operating Cycle”
